Universal Studios Hollywood Photo Trip Report with Construction Updates - October 2019 Universal City, CA
Today we head to Universal Studios Hollywood for a quick update from The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash! and Super Nintendo World construction sites!
Crowd levels were pretty moderate for a Friday.
The live action WaterWorld show has been closed for refurbishment since October 15 with no confirmed reopening date.
Around the corner, the main Upper Lot route to Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem is now closed due to construction for the new The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash! dark ride.
This new attraction appears to have a pretty extensive facade!
Guests are rerouted around the block to access Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem.
Exciting stuff is happening underneath those tarps!
Parts of the brick facade are starting to poke out from some angles.
Over on the Lower Lot, construction crews are moving fast at the Super Nintendo World construction site.

Back to present day: New steel is going up all throughout the site.
The Jurassic World queue line permits some more intimate shots of the site.
This new world be the next defining piece of USH history!
