Hong Kong Disneyland has announced that their new Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! attraction will open at the park on March 31, 2019! This attraction will bring some firsts for a Disney Park: It is the first attraction themed to the Ant-Man franchise and the first Marvel-themed ride to feature a female superhero lead!
In the attraction, guests will be called upon to assist Ant-Man and The Wasp with a mission from Iron Man himself! Riders will first visit the highly-themed "S.H.I.E.L.D." Science and Technology pavilion at the Stark Expo in Tomorrowland, but will be subsequently interrupted by the enemy Arnim Zola and his Swarmbots when they try to steal secret information from a secure data core inside. Riders, along with Ant-Man and The Wasp, will then board "D/AGR" combat ride vehicles that are equipped with EMP Blasters to shrink down and defeat the bots!
This new gaming-based dark ride will share an integrated storyline with the existing Iron Man Experience attraction that's already open, and will further the park's unique Marvel-themed offerings.
