Construction Update: Batman: The Ride - March 2015 at Six Flags Fiesta Texas

The new Batman: The Ride 4D Free-Fly coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, TX is really coming together! This prototype S&S creation features 12 stories of twists and flips, featuring unique 8 Person Max Capacity trains and horizontally flat track. It's the park's first "Batman" Themed Attraction, and has a planned opening of the not-too-distant Summer 2015! Now, onto the pictured! (Pictures are courtesy of SFFT's Facebook Page)

The station track, partial lift hill, and final curve are ready for business!

A different angle shows how flat and overlaying the track is, creating that signature horizontal position these genre of coasters have (Green Lantern: First Flight at Six Flags Magic Mountain is a similar Intamin Zacspin model, a competitors version of the 4D Free Fly)

On the flip side, those familiar with the park should notice the coaster's location. (Rockville high on the right, Scream and Poltergeist on the left)

These types of turns whip riders with unique forces that you can't experience on other coasters,

We can't wait to see the first riders take flight in just a few more months! That's all for now from Theme Park Overload.
