Welcome to Theme Park Overload! Below is a quick update from the Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Due to a deployment mistake, the ride got stuck just seconds after being deployed, haulting riders approximately 20 feet in the air. Check out the video below:
It appears that the ride was deployed with only one side ready, as both gondolas have to be deployed at the same time. This is because the catch cars for both sides (Cables which pull the vehicles to the top) have to act in unison when acceding and descending the tower. That's all for now from this quick TPO update!
