Dollywood kicked off their 30th anniversary plans last week, and TPO was there to get the latest scoop! Dolly Parton herself greeted guests in the park's Celebrity Theater to talk about all the new events that'll be kicking off all season long at the park, including a first ever New Years celebration scheduled for the end of this year!

Festival of the Nations, an international event showcasing the customs and traditions of various cultures from all around the world, will be returning to the park this season!
Returning to help Dollywood celebrate 30 years of entertainment, as well as the 15th annual Festival of Nations, is the visually stunning show, Rhythm of the Dance. Showcasing traditional Irish dance and music with state-of-the-art technology, Rhythm of the Dance marries the contemporary and the ancient to present a thrilling and rich performance which highlights the journey of Irish Celts through history.
Additionally, this season will bring the return of the popular park events:
Dollywood’s Great American Summer (June 13-Aug. 2) Nightly fireworks and extended late-night hours all Summer Long
Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas (Nov. 7- Jan. 2, 2016) Four million lights will deck the park top to bottom, along with the popular stage shows Dollywood's A Christmas Carol and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer
Finally, Dollywood's new Dream More On-Site Resort Hotel has started accepting reservations, and will be welcoming its first visitors August 18. This entirely new Resort will offer top notch amenities to guests, including special perks to Dollywood Park. The Hotel-Guests Only park entrance (Pictured Above) along with complimentary transportation to both Dollywood Park and Splash Country Water Park are exclusive to hotel guests.
